Water Retintion With Cystic Fibrosis

Pirates, not fanatics.

that words do not confuse us. Practicing piracy the inhabitants of the coast of Africa, Indonesia or the Caribbean, has nothing to do with the politics of terror practiced regularly by the occupying armies to demoralize the enemy, whether real or perceived. Pirates hijacking ships and people for financial gain are comparable to any society vulgar thieves and highwaymen to be found in countries as diverse as Mexico, Egypt and Thailand. Who killed three crew members of Sierra Aranzazu in 1964 and who murdered Joseph Couto television camera in 2004 or subsequent massacres resulted in Indochina and Iraq, are comparable to those fundamentalists who kill their economy, that is for God, country and the king, they serve chips fall, literally. Pirates are thieves, murderers, fanatics.
The recent kidnapping of Vega 5, a English fishing home past the Mozambican flag to continue to fish in those waters, with two English crew members on board by unknown pirates acting off the port of Beira, near land, because the fishing was engaged in catching shrimp (camera, in Portuguese), reveals at least two noteworthy news.
The first is that the piracy industry, practiced in recent years with huge profits from the coast of Somalia, has been extended to neighboring countries. Who have captured the Vega 5 did not come from Somalia, or Yemen, an impossible journey to the media that the pirates have in those areas. Probably the robbers from the same Vega 5 Mozambique, where the boat readied used to address the fishing. It is safe to surmise that we are facing a kidnapping played by former soldiers of the Mozambican civil war (1976-1996), one or the other, the Frelimo or Renamo, which had retained their weapons and were not resigned to sort of outcasts in an unjust society and poor.
The second news, political, has to do with the places of refuge for pirates and the growing violence generated the terrible social inequalities. Acting as a pirate, raiding ships at sea, requires more work and more competition to steal or assault on the ground. And it requires something even more rare: a safe haven on the coast where anchor, or moor the vessel beached pirate (boat, skiff, boat, canoe ...) and to enjoy the proceeds of the robbery. The policy of the dominant powers to poor countries still dominated by greed, call it free trade, cooperation or joint ventures, a policy that requires a compliant and complacent rulers who in return are allowed to abuse their power and become rich. The violence of the system often leads to internal wars, riots social and outbursts of anger that degenerate in indiscriminate killings. Ethnicity, religion and less political ideas constitute the backbone and channel the violence endemic to the passage of time. Much of Africa today live in this situation, allowing the existence of gray areas, with powers metaestatales parastatal, where you can live with impunity, for piracy. Robbing the rich
also has always enjoyed a certain social standing. Remember: a thief who steals a hundred years of pardon. In the case of Vega 5 only talk about the two English, ignoring the twenty Mozambicans and Indonesian crew members (the exact number crew is a mystery), for whom, forgive me, no one can give a dime. The value of life lies in the kidnapping of two English and the residual price of fish.
The final sequestration Vega 5 will come when someone from Madrid, via London or Lisbon, pay the ransom to be agreed. Then, the two English sailors back to the shelter of the Euro and, perhaps, a crew kidnapped today decided to join the pirate gangs. The boat, according to the state in which the pirates have left, continue fishing in the waters of Mozambique and will be sold for scrapping. The hypothesis that the pirates join the vessel on its own fleet does not seem plausible.
When the Alakrana already said that the problem of piracy, coupled with inequality and political corruption, enhance and extend without the costly operation Atalanta could help it. Only a matter of time that in addition to the kidnappings have to mourn the loss of human lives, robbers, armed guards or crew of the ship. Wait
substantive political changes that make impossible the existence of zones of impunity seems too unrealistic even from the perspective of a struggling historical optimist. Juan Zamora
